The most important representatives of the metal processing industry in one place during Warsaw Metaltech
Only proven exhibitors, only visitors ready to invest – this is what the second edition of Warsaw Metaltech, a trade fair for machine technology and tools for metal processing, looked like. The event took place at Ptak Warsaw Expo on January 23-25, 2024.
The last few months have been an investment period for the metal processing industry. More and more enterprises decided to increase expenditure on the renovation or expansion of machinery and equipment parks. All this to gain competitiveness and focus on innovation. The second edition of Warsaw Metaltech, which took place at Ptak Warsaw Expo, was created with a similar thought. Here, modern solutions met networking and industry education.
The most important representatives of the metal processing industry in one place during Warsaw Metaltech
Warsaw Metaltech was an event dedicated to business. Representatives of the technology of metal processing machines and tools like engineers and technicians of the metal industry, specialists in metal production and processing, designers of metal structures and representatives of the automotive and aviation industries, met with suppliers of the most innovative systems and tools for work optimization.
This group included manufacturers of metal processing machines, companies supplying tools and cutters, specialists in the field of cutting technology, manufacturers of welding and soldering equipment, companies offering metal cutting and bending services, and suppliers of CNC systems and machine control.
The exhibitors list included Machine Tools International, Polska Grupa CNC, Evoluma, NOTA, FANUC, Grupa Marat, SulichRec, Respekt Energy, Sturmer, GF, DEMATEC, HAFEN, INTER POLER, JAZON, GG TECH, HyperMILL, SMW AUTOBLOK, Temrex, GudePol, Kipp and AUER.
Congress of Innovations in Metal Processing at Warsaw Metaltech
Warsaw Metaltech was also rich in industry education. Ptak Warsaw Expo, in cooperation with the Industry 4.0 Center of the Silesian University of Technology and EVOLUMA Industrial Cluster, organized the Innovations in Metal Processing Congress.
During it, the most respected experts and practitioners in the industry shared their observations on the development of the sector. Jakub Bańcer, Key Account Manager from FANUC POLSKA and Wojciech Kowalczyk, CNC and robotics development manager at SOLIDEXPERT, answered questions on how to robotize the machining process and how to automate processes while minimizing the risk of errors. Prof. Damian Gąsiorek from the Industry 4.0 Center of the Silesian University of Technology gave a lecture “3D printing in metal. An overview of printing methods and their application in industry”, and Jacek Smoluch, Product Leader from Robots Mitsubishi Electric Europe, lecture “Not so heavy metal” – about the ease of grinding and deburring with a robot”. However, there were many more lectures and hours spent discussing innovations and the development of the sector.
Another edition of Warsaw Metaltech
The second edition was visited by 5396 participants, of whom 342 were from outside Poland. 110 exhibitors presented their goods and services. The success of this edition of the event has already resulted in a date being booked for the next one. It will take place from January 21 to 23, 2025.
